Joel Giambra was born on Buffalo’s West Side. The son of a professional boxer, he was raised by his mother and grandmother in the projects.  He stood up to party bosses and politicians to do the right thing, even if it wasn’t popular.  Along the way, he even beat cancer while fighting to fix a system that left too many behind. 

Now, Joel Giambra is taking on a new fight: entrenched Albany politicians who’ve forgotten who they serve. As our next senator, Joel Giambra will be our voice in Albany. He will fix our economy, make our streets safe again, and stop the corruption destroying our state.
